Lavasoft Releases Ad-Aware 2008 Beta

Well known security software company Lavasoft, today announced the beta release of Ad-Aware 2008, the latest version of the pioneer anti-spyware solution, now also featuring integrated anti-virus protection. The new version of their flagship product features an extended engine designed to address the growing complexities of today's spyware, viruses and other malware threats. Ad-Aware's new engine boosts detection to include over one million additional cyber threats.

Today's PC users are more educated and aware when it comes to protecting their privacy online. They want the best detection and the fastest scan times with the least amount of computer resources. This new version of Ad-Aware meets those demands with features such as improved rootkit removal system, substantially reduced use of computer memory, faster updates, and full 64-bit platform support, including Windows Vista compatibility.
