As a follow-up to our recent warning on misleading sites selling Ad-Aware – we’ve come across additional websites that you should be aware of as you browse the Web for the best deals.

The following sites are selling copies of Ad-Aware that are either not legitimate or are no longer supported by Lavasoft:

To make sure that you’re making a legitimate software purchase, always buy directly from the source or from a valid reseller. If you are suspicious of a Lavasoft product purchase, you can confirm that the sale is through one of our resellers or affiliates by contacting sales@lavasoft.com.

This is bad, because the new version has issues, I had to back out of it because I could no longer scan external USB hard drives. AW Pro 2008 needs to be supported untill AW Anniversary is fully stable
