In a recent article by CBC News more security and privacy concerns for companies, and possibly individuals, have been highlighted.

The problem centers around your disused photocopier. Since modern photocopiers contain hard drives for storing the information they scan this information is available long after you have forgotten all about it.


Voting has kicked off in Lavasoft’s first ever Skin Design Contest. Vote now for your favorite skin to help choose the final design that will be featured in the release of the new version of Ad-Aware!

Beta 3 - Now Available

Calling all beta testers - the third stage of our Beta testing process is now underway!

With Beta 1 and 2, we focused initially on testing the scanning process, then on real-time protection. Beta 3 is designed to test additional functionality of the real-time protection - including registry and network protection - as well as the startup manager feature.

Beta 2: Released

It's time for the second stage of the Beta process - Beta 2 is now available. With our first incremental Beta release, the focus was primarily on the scanning process.
